I live for the magic of transforming simple elements into something unforgettable. As the designer, planner, builder, and creative force behind Ember & Bloom, I wear many hats—except videographer. That’s where my husband, Justin, steps in as our resident handyman and video genius.
My journey into events and design started as a college side job at a luxury catering and event planning company—a pit stop on my way to med school. Seeing people light up as their big moments came to life made every packed shift worth it. I continued down the medical path, committed to helping people in life’s most critical moments, until the pandemic made me rethink how I wanted to make an impact. I realized that while saving lives is incredible, so is creating moments of pure joy—memories people can hold onto forever.
From then on, I poured myself into design—honing skills in interior design, DIY projects, web design, and user experience. When it came time to plan my own wedding, those skills came together in ways I never imagined—custom signage, a champagne wall, a luxury wedding swing, even a faux cake with drywall spackle icing (yes, really). I saw how small details transform a space, how creativity stretches a budget, and how intentional design creates pure magic.
Then came my brother’s proposal, which we executed without a hitch and had so much fun doing! And just like that, I realized my passion wasn’t just about aesthetics—it was about curating moments that make people feel something. Ember & Bloom was born from that spark: a blend of my love for design and desire to exceed expectations by creating stunning, meaningful celebrations that leave a lasting impact while providing to others the kind of service I wished I had found myself.
Now, I get to dream up enchanting designs, bring them to life, and watch the pure joy on my clients’ faces as they experience it all. Whether it’s a luxury proposal, an intimate wedding, or a stunning custom sign, I pour my heart into every detail.
